About the Journal
ISSN 2083-7283
Scientific yearbook of the Department of Speech Therapy and Developmental Disorders at the Institute of Health Sciences, published by the Scientific Publishing House of the University of the National Education Commission in Krakow; was originally published in 2006-2017, reissued in 2023.
The main goal of the journal is to disseminate research results covering broadly understood phenomena related to the acquisition of the language system, building and rebuilding linguistic competences, and issues of linguistic communication, including its disorders of various etiologies, from a linguistic, neurobiological, psychological and medical perspective.
The submitted texts may be written from the perspective of linguistics, health sciences or social sciences, but it is important that the subject of research is the broadly understood issues of the theory and/or practice of speech therapy and neurologopedics, both norms and disorders. We accept texts written in both synchronic and diachronic terms.
The content disseminated in the journal is addressed primarily to researchers-speech therapists/neuro-speech therapists and practitioners-speech therapists/neuro-speech therapists (Polish and foreign), but also to linguists, psychologists, educators and doctors, i.e. representatives of disciplines such as health sciences, linguistics and other humanities disciplines, as well as social sciences. Their purpose is to exchange scientific ideas and disseminate the latest interdisciplinary knowledge and practical solutions.
The journal accepts primarily texts written in Polish and English, and in justified cases also in other Slavic and congress languages.
