About the Journal

ANNALES UNIVERSITATIS PAEDAGOGICAE CRACOVIENSIS. STUDIA LOGOPAEDICA (e-ISSN 2083-7283) is an annual scientific journal published by the Department of Speech Therapy and Developmental Disorders at the Institute of Health Sciences, under the Scientific Publishing House of the Commission of National Education University in Kraków. The journal was originally published between 2006 and 2017 and was relaunched in 2023.

The primary objective of the journal is to disseminate research findings related to various aspects of language acquisition, the development and rehabilitation of linguistic competence, and issues of language communication, including disorders of different etiologies, from linguistic, neurobiological, psychological, and medical perspectives.

Submitted articles may be written from the perspective of linguistics, health sciences, or social sciences. However, they should focus on the broad theoretical and/or practical aspects of speech therapy and neurospeech therapy, including both normative and pathological conditions. We accept articles employing both synchronic and diachronic approaches.

The content published in the journal is primarily intended for researchers and practitioners in the fields of speech therapy and neuro-speech therapy, both in Poland and abroad. Additionally, it addresses linguists, psychologists, educators, and medical professionals, representing disciplines such as health sciences, linguistics, and other humanities, as well as social sciences. The journal aims to foster scientific exchange and promote the dissemination of the latest interdisciplinary knowledge and practical solutions.

The journal primarily accepts articles written in Polish and English. In justified cases, submissions in other Slavic and international academic languages may also be considered.
