Members of the editorial board of the scientific journal ANNALES UNIVERSITATIS PAEDAGOGICAE CRACOVIENSIS. STUDIA LOGOPAEDICA respect the principle of confidentiality, which means that it does not disclose to unauthorised persons any information about authors, reviewers or persons who have registered on the journal's website in order to use the newsletter service. Persons authorised to have the above-mentioned information are: Editors and Publisher.

Information on the processing of personal data of the Author/Authors

Based on Article. 13 (or/and) 14 Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the European Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ EU L.2016.119.1 of May 4, 2016
– hereinafter: GDPR or Regulation), we would like to inform you that:

I. Personal Data Controller: The Personal Data Controller of the Author/Authors/Reviewers is the University of the National Education Commission in Kraków (address: ul. Podchorążych 2, 30-084 Kraków, website: www.up.krakow.pl). You can contact the Personal Data Administrator via the e-mail address: info@up.krakow.pl or in writing to the correspondence address indicated in the first sentence.

II. Data Protection Inspector: The Author/Authors/Reviewers may contact the Data Protection Inspector appointed by the Administrator in matters relating to: the processing of personal data, the exercise of rights regarding the processing of personal data, by writing to the e-mail address iod@up.krakow.pl, or the address of the Administrator. Data, indicated in point I.

III. Purposes of personal data processing: The University processes personal data in order to prepare and implement a publishing contract in accordance with Art. 6 section 1 letter b) of the Regulation (EU), in particular:

• reaction to information sent to the Publishing House using the contact form/e-mail,
• implementation of the publishing process related to publishing the work of the Author/Authors,
• publishing the name, surname, degree or academic title and affiliation of the Author/Authors,
• sharing data with other entities related to the publishing process, databases and other information, promotional and scientific portals,
• sending original printed issues of the work.

Providing your personal data is a condition for the performance of a contract, order, publication of a work you authored/co-authored or where you acted as a Reviewer/Editor/Member of the Scientific Council. You are obliged to provide them, and the consequence of not providing personal data will be the publishing house's refusal to publish or accept the article/review.


IV. Recipients of personal data: The collected personal data may be made available to entities and public bodies authorized to process personal data under the provisions of generally applicable law and to entities processing personal data on behalf of the administrator in connection with the performance of the task entrusted to them.

V. Period of storage of personal data of the Author/Authors: Personal data collected pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) b) Regulation (EU), i.e. they will be processed for a maximum period of 50 years from the date of signing the contract.

VI. Rights of data subjects: The author/authors have the right to:

• access to your data (information about the Data processed by the Administrator), including obtaining a copy of the data. The law will be implemented to the extent technically and legally possible,
• rectification (correcting data when it is inconsistent with the actual state),
• deleting or limiting data processing in cases provided for by law.
The collected personal data is not subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.


VII. Supervisory authority in the field of personal data: The supervisory authority in the field of personal data is the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection. The author/authors, if it is considered that the processing of personal data violates the provisions of the Regulation, has the right to lodge a complaint to the above-mentioned. supervisory authority.
