Due to the increasing number of children with various dysfunctions seeking help in speech therapy clinics, it is necessary to take a closer look at the causes of abnormalities developing in their bodies. It is also important to analyze the mechanisms underlying these disorders and to consider whether – and how – we can reduce their incidence. A conscious approach to public health, with a focus on the well-being of future generations, seems particularly significant in this context.
