ANNALES UNIVERSITATIS PAEDAGOGICAE CRACOVIENSIS. STUDIA LOGOPAEDICA is an open access journal - in accordance with the definition of open access BOAI (Budapest Open Access Initiative). 

Our journal operates under the Open Access publishing model, ensuring that knowledge is freely accessible to everyone without financial barriers for readers or authors. Below are the key details of this policy:

1. No Fees for Readers or Authors

  • Readers: All published articles are made available free of charge on our journal's website, providing unrestricted access to the global community.
  • Authors: There are no Article Processing Charges (APCs) or submission fees. The publication process, including peer review, editing, and typesetting, is completely free for authors.

2. Publishing Costs

  • The publishing costs are fully covered by the publishing house, ensuring high-quality editorial and production standards without transferring costs to authors or readers.
  • Funding for operations is provided through institutional support, grants, or sponsorship agreements with academic and non-profit organizations.

3. Entirely Free for Both Publication and Access

This model guarantees that both the submission and access processes are entirely free, supporting equitable access to knowledge and encouraging contributions from authors across diverse regions, including those with limited research funding.

4. Copyright and Licensing

  • Copyright: Upon publication, the publisher retains full copyright to the material.
  • Free Availability: The author agrees that the publisher will make the content freely available on the journal's website.
  • Licensing: The entire content of each issue is made available free of charge under the terms of the Creative Commons CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0 license (attribution, non-commercial use, no works dependents).

5. Permanent Digital Archiving

  • Articles are permanently archived on the journal's website and in the repositories of UKEN Scientific Publishing House and Pedagogical Digital Library, ensuring long-term preservation and accessibility of research outputs.
  • The archiving complies with international standards, offering robust digital preservation and consistent availability.
